What is Mongratis?
As the name implies, Mongratis is a Pokedex of ‘Free Mons’, Pokemon that are made free-to-use by their creators.
Though hosted on Pokengine, not all Pokemon have been created by Engine participants.
What are the rules?
1) Due to the nature of this Dex, the mod team is very careful to ensure that all donations are properly attributed to their creators. As such, we do have some rules regarding completion and donation.
2) All mons must be fully credited to their creators and to any contributors who assist. If they are not a participant of Pokengine, then a link to their work must be provided.
There must be clear evidence provided that the mons are free-to-use.
3) Any content created by the original artist can not be edited. While details left blank can be filled in by the community, anything invented by the original artist must be left intact.
4)All rules of Pokengine, including quality controls, must be abided.
Can I contribute?
Yes! You can create and donate a Pokemon to this dex, help complete the dex by providing spites, or point the Mod team in the direction of ‘mons that have been made free-to-use by their creators off site.
Please note that this whole Dex is free-to-use, both on and off the engine.
What can I submit?
New Fakemon - This means a front sprite. If no other information is provided at the time of submission, this becomes free game for other members to create.Back, Overworld, or Icon Sprites - If a pokemon exists in the Dex without these sprites, you can contribute to the dex by submitting them! A Pokemon doesn’t become available for use In Game without them.Shiny Coloring - You must provide re-colorings of all existing sprites of the ‘mon you are coloring.Names, Stats, Move sets, Details, Flavour - If this information is lacking, contribute by filling this in!

Why did my Fakemon get rejected?
Sprites must meet the quality standards set out by the engine. Please review the feedback you are provided and feel free to try again!
Can my Mon be used in the MMO?
Yes! As the mons in this Dex are free-to-use, region creators may use your creations within their games!
Are these Mons free for use outside the MMO?
Yes. As many of the mons included in this Dex are created off site, Pokengine and the Mongratis dex are paying it forward by allowing pokemon submitted to this dex to be used off site.
However, THIS ONLY APPLIES TO THE MONGRATIS DEX. All other Pokemon and Dexes are exclusive to Pokengine and their creators.
Help! I want to remove my Pokemon from this Dex.
If the Pokemon is used in the MMO and has been caught, then it cannot be removed.
If your Pokemon has not been added to the MMO or caught, please message one of the moderators and we will remove it.
If you’re not a member of Pokengine, please message a moderator and we will discuss options on how to proceed.
I've made an edit to a sprite of a mon I submitted. How do I update this?
Please ping one of the Dex Moderators with your updated sprite and we can make the change.
I want to edit to a Pokemon’s stats, weight, abilities, type, etc. Do I submit the form?
If you are the original creator of the Pokemon and this information was NOT provided at the time of original submission, you can message a mod with the new information. However, if someone else has completed these details in the absence of your opinion, it will become Mod discretion if an update is made.
Can I submit variants/regional forms?
You may submit variants of Pokemon, however the sprites must conform to the engines rules. You may not create a variant of a Fakemon unless permission has been granted.
You can refer to the ‘Notes’ section of a ‘Mon’s page to see if this permission is granted or ask the original creator directly.
Will there be contests?
At this point in time, this Dex is too new for us to know.

Submit or Nominate
You may either submit your own contributions to Mongratis or nominate anothers Fakemon provided that there is clear evidence that their creations are free-for-use.
